1. Actually, no, because PPMd is symmetric this takes almost the same memory size to pack and unpack, level 9 ~ 290 Mb with 256 Mb dictionary.Interesting that it goes to 256 MB with PPMd but not with LZMA*. Probably because of only one thread.
